his year we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary in the nation’s largest Latino market. In order to attain some continuity for the Los Angeles Festival we have decided to remain at the Fairplex for the 2006 event. In 2006 the event will be in Hall 7A, a larger venue that will contain the entire event and will overcome problems we experienced in 2005 in moving traffic between Halls 6 and 7. Additionally Hall 7A is directly adjacent to the Plaza de las Americas where the Folklórico Challenge USA will be held. The Fairplex is home to the Los Angeles County Fair, which annually draws close to 1,500,000 visitors. Of that total some 32% are Latino. This excellent venue is centrally located and freeway close to Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties making it the perfect location for a Southern California Latino Book & Family Festival.
