or the 4th Annual Houston Latino Book & Family Festival we are moving onto the Central Campus of Houston Community College. Tony Diaz, the director of our Houston Co-host, Nuestra Palabra, Latino Writers Having Their Say, is coordinating with the school’s administrators from the President on down as well as with teachers and student organizations.

The campus is indeed centrally located and adjacent to Houston’s expanding rapid transit system. Our continuing relationship with print and electronic media in the Houston area, including returning Presenting Sponsor the Houston Chronicle, should once again result in the large crowds we have seen these past few years in this great city.

Anticipation is high in Houston as it will have been almost 19 months since the last Houston Festival (Katrina evacuees filled the George R Brown Convention Center in October of 2005 forcing postponement of our event).
